It’s a fabulous Monday morning here in the Mother City and I feel like showcasing a fun and funky design to start off the week with some style.
In our Monday morning quest for a kick bum Tshirt of the Day I decided to go with the insane design from Amarillo called Wooden Face.
I’m a huge fan of Amarillo’s work as it’s some of the most bizarre/abstract work I’ve seen on Springleap…gotta love the crazy designs.
However, even though at times his work can be super insane, it still makes you ponder and think deeply about what is going on in the image….”Food for thought” if you will.
So what’s going on in the Wooden Face design?! Well Amarillo doesn’t really give us much of a description with this design so you really have to put on those imagination goggles and have a good look.
For me the deranged Wooden Mask has a certain element of dementia to it, which makes me instantly think of an ancient Norse Loki mask.

Morning soldiers
For todays Tshirt of the Day I decided that it would be a great idea to showcase Yummm’s very cool design called G.I. Love.
There is way too much bad stuff going on in the world at the moment…at the top of the list for unnecessary death and hardship are all the various wars that are raging on our planet.
It seems that every country in the world is involved in a war or has something to do with one.
G.I. Love is a soldier who fights for the preservation of the good and kind people of this world…he’s kinda like Cupid but is packing a waaaay more powerful love inducing arsenal.
Cupid has arrows, G.I. Love has machine guns with kissing bullets and hugging grenades….heck he can even call in a tactical air strike blanketing an entire area with snuggles.

Hi there one and all.
“Stories within stories”, this is the general outline of what Sebell envisaged for this really epic design.
It’s true some designs take elements from a vast array of different themes and ideas.
This design entitled Mix & Match is exactly that, a Mix Match of various things, which have been integrated beautifully to make a truly unique and beautiful design.
I hope the word beautiful doesn’t offset some of our more manly men, but in all honesty the character design is really at a level that is best described as beautiful.
Sebell has a look that is easily recognisable and has a style that we have come to expect from him.
The madness of lines with minimal colours used in conjunction with simple characters really compliments the overall design.
Not to mention we get a bit of Sebell “brain washing”…if you look deeper into the lines Sebells name pops right out at you…perhaps even in a sneaky hypnotic suggestion kinda way hahaha, jokes 
What do you see in this image?
I see a half naked rocket man, a king yeti and a boyfriend more interested in floating sheep than his self indulgent girlfriend….am I going nuts? Wouldn’t be the first time LOL.
Mix & Match is one cool design which almost borders on the doodle category, but in actual fact couldn’t be further from it.
Sebell has done a really good job on this one, nice one my man…you can look forward to more of his cool styles like the recently submitted Fighter Pilot design which is already suuuuper popular.

Todays Tshirt of the Day is a cutesy design with added attitude.
The immensely popular Panda FU which was designed by KingC from the chilly city of Cape Town really caused a stir as it climbed up the rankings.
This design is loved by so many of the girl voters who think that Panda Fu is just the cutest thing out…even if it is generally telling everybody to F off 
Chic must dig furry creatures with attitude…I think quite a few of my friends fit into that category LOL.
The writing underneath the panda is also quite funny because I know just how cute pandas are in “real life”…which is NOT very.
The fact is panda’s are actually not all that cute…well that is if you don’t get too up close and personal with them.
Let’s face it they are members of the bear family and have been known to attack humans…and let me tell you they don’t call them giant pandas for nothing, these “sweet & innocent” looking creatures will rip off your arm and hit you with the soggy end.
I love how little girls always have pandas in their rooms…little do they know their soft and squishy little fantasy friends would, in real life, rather snack on them than the chocolate cake they get at tea party’s ROFL.
Panda FU has its charm in its attitude, the design is really well done and appeals to a large cross section of people, it will undoubtedly be very popular in store.
KingC is a regular submitter of designs on Springleap, so look forward to more classic designs by this man.
