I have found my idol and I’m in love!
Have you ever gotten’ the fuzzy ‘love tingle’ from merely setting your eyes on something beautiful?
This is the only time love at first sight has hit me and I need to share it with you!
I was searching Beautiful/Decay Magazine’s online shop for original t-shirts. They started Artists Series Apparel so that they could do something more for some of the artists and designers they feature in the magazine. The most popular products on the site are the t-shirts (which are really cool designs), but they have an array of other apparel aswell. I loved this concept, so I had a look and came across this amazing design…
Of course I just had to know who the artist was behind this cool design. Her name is Aya Kato and each and every one of her pieces are amazingly detailed and captivating. Being Japanese, her illustration style is cunningly oriental with a surreal twist. Do yourself a favour and take a better look at her artwork gallery on ayakato.net
Cool designs make incredibly cool t-shirts. Can you imagine how she would kick ass in ANY t-shirt competition! Art in fashion is making it big all over the world, so step your talents up a notch and get creative guys!

If anyone has been having a tough time getting their creativity flowing (it happens, don’t be ashamed!) read this for some inspiration and maybe even a little attitude adjustment will fly your way that could take you further than you’d imagine!
I’m so excited to tell you about this amazing guy who won’t let anything in the world come between him and his talent for creating t-shirt designs. His name is Jared Aronson and he is the owner of Madhouse t-shirts.
Jared was diagnosed with a kind of muscular dystrophy at the age of six and has lived in a wheelchair on a ventilator for the majority of his life. Jared’s motto in life is: “If you are laughing you are living” and he spreads this philosophy through Madhouse and the comical t-shirts he designs. Thanks to technology, he designs his t-shirts by means of a special trackball mouse on his computer.
Jared has never had any training as far as designing goes, but it has been his dream to share his t-shirt designs with the world, so that is exactly what he’s doing. Perseverance and dedication pays off people! So re-submit your edited designs and never give up on designing that competition winning t-shirt.
Springleap.com and Madhouse have more than one thing in common…and if we exclude t-shirts, online shopping and AWESOME we are left with the fact that both are fully FOR original t-shirt designs! There you are: Two more t-shirt sites pro- original and against infringement! Great stuff!

Hi all.
We’ve been working so hard to get the word out there about these bursaries that we might have gone a little overboard! Haha, we don’t really think so!
The Pure Imagination t-shirt competition is real and it’s a knock knock knocking on your door if your a highschool student from Cape Town or Johannesburg. Guys and girls there is still time to submit, so get your t-shirt competition designs to us by the May 13th or you’ll be passing up a big opportunity.
