Hi all.
We’ve been working so hard to get the word out there about these bursaries that we might have gone a little overboard! Haha, we don’t really think so!
The Pure Imagination t-shirt competition is real and it’s a knock knock knocking on your door if your a highschool student from Cape Town or Johannesburg. Guys and girls there is still time to submit, so get your t-shirt competition designs to us by the May 13th or you’ll be passing up a big opportunity.
To add a little fun to the equation Springleap.com Marketing and PR staff hauled out their heavy camera equipment and their crazy skills to put together a fun video about the teen t-shirt competition for you all to watch
You can take a look at it by clicking on the following link: Pure Imagination Ad. It was great fun making it and I’m sure you’ll all get the message a bit clearer after taking a squizz at it.
To all of you budding designers with real interest in the concept of a t-shirt competition site such as Springleap.com treat yourself with some helpful brainfood by co-founder Eran Eyal’s series of informative posts. The first is entitled: “The T-shirt Competition is Changing Design Today.”
Happy reading and good luck with those designs!

in competitions, press, cape town and springleap.
Hey everyone,
As you may have heard, Springleap partied the night away last night at Tantra in Claremont. The party was themed “Lumo”(this refers to the word luminous if anyone was wondering.Think highlighter.) and was held by Cape Town Alive. Springleap.com was there, of course, to reward the best dressed male and female with two hip Springleap t-shirts each! Lucky them! We also got talking to the charged up crowd about Springleap.com and encouraged them to register online.
If you had joined us you would have noticed the amazing thumping, bumping music supplied by three of Cape Town’s biggest DJ’s; Dean Fuel, Pearce and Pascal who all graced us with their mad methods.Great work Cape Town Alive!
We hope everyone who attended had as much of a great time as we did! Hope to see more of you next time we get out there! Who knows you might also pick up a funky t-shirt just for sticking around!
Keep it real!

in competitions and interesting.
Hey there all you super designers.
So have you sent in your submissions for the various design competitions on Springleap.com?
This month there are so many awesome compos which are sure to get you lots of attention from all sorts of different social groups and companies.
So what’s happening?
Well besides the normal monthly Springleap competition, which is going MAD this month, there are also a host of competitions sponsored from all corners of the market.
First up is Louise Carver’s compo, where you get to design a t-shirt that you feel best suits her image and style, winners will get a ton of FREE Springleap stuff as well as Saved by the moonlight CD’s….very nice.
So time to pull out all the stops and get whimsical boys and girls J
The closing date for her comp is on the 30th of September…which is super dupa soon.
Want something a little more hardcore to design? Well say no more, TIMECODE records and Springleap have joined forces to bring you a design compo that can make you get your psychadelic funk on and come up with some waaay warped designs.
TIMECODE are known as one of the best (and most “out there”) trance labels around, so they are indeed looking for a t-shirt design that is different but still incorporates the TIMECODE logo.
That should be easy enough for you awesome designers out there in cyber space
This one will be closing on the 14th of October.
Lastly we have the mega compo that is being sponsored by the mens clothing house of Markhams.
Create an insane Markhams inspired design on your own computer, or simply use our handy design program on the Springleap site…nobody has an excuse for this one, everybody can enter…even if they don’t have a super powerful computer sitting at home.
There is some big cash up for grabs everybody….like 5K, to be more precise.
The Markham competition is also set to end on the 30th of September…so put on those sprinting design shoes and get cracking.
Come on everybody, I really can’t wait to see what super cool designs you come up with.
Duncs.
