Cape Town Fashion Week

Unfortunately I couldn’t get to Cape Town Fashion Week, but initial reports are that it was a lot of fun. Maybe coz that’s Eran was right in the thick of the action, with his camera taking tons of pics.

Cape Town Fashion Week is now sponsored by Alive, so perhaps things ran a little differently this time round.

Well, there are a LOT of Fashion Weeks in the next few weeks, with the next one on the cards being the Sanlam Fashion week in JHB.

Kindle

I’ve got quite a few tshirts already, so if you are thinking of something innovative to get me, go for the kindle.

For those of you in the dark, the kindle is one of the hottest selling items on amazon. It’s an eBook reader, but apparently its got a way about it, that makes it totally different from the horrible ebook readers of the past.

And i’m pretty keen to download tons of interesting stuff onto the kindle while i enjoy some clifton sun!

springleap tshirt shop

We’ve renamed the eSquared shop in Sea Point to the “springleap shop”, so we had a big decision to make. Do we start a new blog for the springleap shop, or do we rather say to ourselves, that the eSquared blog is already set up, and rather leave the domain, but change the name to the “springleap shop blog”.

So that’s what we did. The URL is still eSquaredFashion but this blog is now called the springleap shop blog.

Hopefully that’s not TOO confusing.

Summer

I’m running an evening tonight and the theme is The Lazy Hazy Days of Summer, so I thought i’d do a bit of research on summer and came up with some really interesting observations.

First off is that searching google for the word “summer” brings up wikipedia, which gives the definitions of summer. After reading the rather bland wikipedia page, I hopped across to dictionary.com and read about 20 different definitions of what adjectives and nouns relating to the word summer are.
