When I was little toys were really important to me. Hell, most kids wouldn’t be able to function without their toys, figurines, dolls, games…whatever. The one toy that I feel that I couldn’t have lived without has to be LEGO. Yes indeed those blocks that you can transform into anything from a police station to an intergalactic battle cruiser. Man oh man I love LEGO…if I could get away with it I would probably still be playing with it harharhar.
However things have evolved since when I last played with LEGO…these days you can design your own LEGO models. LEGO Design byME is here to rock your socks!
Wish you could make your very own uniqueLEGO model, complete with custom box and instruction manual? Dream no more my friend because the wonderful people at LEGO have made this wish a reality.
With our Retro theme competition’s closing date looming on the 27th of May, we can practically taste the anticipation in the air. I have had a look at the voting stats and it looks like this win will be even closer than our usual competitions. Two designs that are really making a strong play for the top prize are both of the retro video game designsstyle.
The first retro video game designs that grabs my attention is undoubtedly the It’s on like…, by ModesC. I’m sure you would have heard somebody say, at one point or another, “It’s on like Donkey Kong”. Yep this is indeed a declaration that I have heard many times as a gaming battle begins, or the proverbial gauntlet is thrown down when a friend wants to show me his Chun-Li will kick my Ryu’s ass (chances). I thought that it was a very appropriate name for a design that is entirely based around the beloved character of Donkey Kong. This design seems to be pretty popular thus far and with only 2 days left before we close voting, this could very well be our winner.
