So another competition closes and another opens. The what you got? competition was a great success and our winner Sebasebi has added another amazing design to the collection. However now our voting focus shirts across to the next theme competition! It’s time to jump back in time boys and girls.
Here are my Retro top choices!
My first choice has to be Make $ome cash by our well known winner CHUCKY. This ode to the past captures the essence of those old propaganda saturated adverts that make mad people purchase stupid junk or buy into crazyideologies. Remember those Uncle Sam-esque designs that told you how fun it would be to join the military. Gee gosh, you can play football all day and travel to exotic locations and dine on fine food and local girls…errr, that came out wrong! Well in any case this radically cool design really had to join my Retro top choices. Even though it’s a relatively simple design from CHUCKY, it is a styling concept that really works well for the theme!
The “Make $ome cash…sell a kidney” phrase really made me laugh because it has become a house hold expression these days when you need money. Just go sell a kidney right?
Ahhh you have to love black market humourROFL!
Well there we have it! Another awesome winning design has made its mark on the Springleap.com competition with some seriouslyinterstellar star crushing power. Congratulations to Sebasebi for scooping the win with his mind blowing design All we are is energy!
This design was a firm favourite in the voting and we were sure that this design was going to go a very long way indeed.
Not only did Sebasebi manage to beat out the mega popular design TV ate my brain from Tu and YOWEEE YOWEEE YOWEEE from the illustrious Mikdog, but he even pipped Inkblot trooper and Tu’s other submission The Godformer. Wow, now that is some serious parrying right there!
Sebasebi’sAll we are is energy design was actually on my top choiceslist for the What you got? competition. While it is a resubmission, which I find sometimes counts against a design, there was never a doubt in my mind that this killer cool piece was going to be up there as a favourite. Can you imagine how cool this design is going to look on our t-shirts? I’m telling you that it’s going to be absolutely mind blowing and I can’t wait to have one of these babies in my collection.
