Kick-Ass

Kick Ass Movie

Hi there all you superhero junkies.

So tell me are you all as sick of the constant bombardment of super hero movies of recent years that just have absolutely nothing going for them? While there have been a few gems like The Dark Knight and Watchmen, there are still those that make me want to vomit blood, such as Spiderman 3 and X-men 3…those were extra special bad with a side order of crapola! However there is one super hero movie that I am really looking forward to and that is the much anticipated flick Kick-Ass.

Kick-Ass is a superhero origin movie that centres around Dave Lizewski (played by Aaron Johnson) who is your typical high school kid who isn’t exactly a geek or jock. Flash Forward

Greetings all.

There seems to be such a multitude of interesting series that come out these days. Sometimes I’m even left wondering which ones to follow. Unfortunately a common trend is that a series starts off strong but then crumbles under its own weight of expectation. The same happened to Heroes which was an amazing series, but then just went off the tracks hard. The latest series that has caught my interest in Flash Forward, which is quintessentially about the entire population of Earth losing consciousness for 2 minutes and seventeen seconds, whilst having a “supposed” vision of the future.

Flash Forward was originally a science fiction novel by Robert J Sawyer, which has been recreated by Brannon Braga and David S Goyer as a TV series. The story centres around a team of FBI agents and their respective loved ones as they try to come to grips with the mass “blackout” that left millions of people dead across the globe. It was a frightening thing to even imagine!
Can you imagine the amount of damage that would occur if everybody simply
lost consciousness? We are talking crashed cars in the hundreds of thousands, downed planes, medical procedures going wrong….heck during the blackout the series even shows loads of drowned surfers who simply fell off their boards. Now take those examples and apply them to all walks of life, we are talking a serious amount of deaths.
