Greetings all!

Get ready Cape Town, tonight is the night to be overwhelmed by super duper funky poster art of international calibre. If you want to see design that hints at the future of design in our world and showcases designers that you have maybe never heard of, this is an event not to be missed.

One Small Seed and Verb (who are the media representatives for Cape Town) are here to bring you the best in progressive poster art with their cool touring exhibition entitled City Slickers. This phenomenal gathering of top notch designers has been travelling all over the place and has already blown away a Durban and Jozies crowds. Now it’s time for Cape Town to get a taste of this mega designs power!
The event itself will take place this Friday, from 6pm at 17 Bree Street in Cape Town.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4


Yo HOHO and a bottle of rum!

Just when you thought it was safe to take a cruise, it appears that Captain Jack Sparrow is back for Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Surprised? You better not be!
This movie franchise was never going to simply end after the third movie, No Way!
The characters and the story were such a massive hit that nobody can deny that it shouldn’t be surprising that they are making more movies and of course Johnny Depp is back.

Disney seems to have really developed a mega cash cow with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. It’s making them lots and lots of money and if the trend continues then I’m sure we will be seeing at least another three movies including number 4. Most of the new characters that will be joining up with Depp are still being kept on the down low, however French actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey (yes Frisbey…and no not that thing you throw around at the park :P ) was recently announced as a major role as a sultry mermaidhmmm very interesting. Miss Frisbey isn’t even that well known. She has been in a few French movies and a couple of TV spots. Well, if she wasn’t famous before, after landing a supposed “major role” next to Depp she should be famous soon enough.
