To the beat of the drum STOMP!

Last night me and a few buddies went across to the Artscape theatre in Cape Town to watch the much talked about fusion performance Stomp. Hailed as one of the most original performances to ever hit contemporary theatre, Stomp is a musical experience that is overflowing with a thick urban/tribal rhythm!
I have wanted to watch this show for years now and finally I managed to check it out…I was not disappointed…not even a little.

Stomp features 12 brilliant performers who use everyday items to make unique and wonderful music. When I say they use anything I mean ANYTHING! In one scene they use nothing but boxes of matches, in another they beat out a mega drumming assault on truck inner tubing. They use everything and the kitchen sinkliterally they used a freaking kitchen sink that they sling around their necks with a strap…insane!
