Crysis 2

Crysis 2

Listen up gaming fans, we have a real Crysis on our hands…well Crysis2 that is!

It seems that the gaming community received some rather epic news for the month of April. The long awaited sequel to 2007’s first person shooter Crysis has finally been unveiled by Electronic Arts and Crytek in New York and it aims to set an even higher “bar” in the gaming world than ever before.
Crysis 2 is almost here WOOHOOOO!

Honestly its games like this that make me wanna upgrade my PC. Because honestly if you want to enjoy the new Crysis 2 to its fullest, you better have a PC forged in the hell fires of Mount Doom.
Crysis 2 hopes to take the first person shooter experience one step further with even more enhanced graphics and added depth to the storyline.

If you remember the first Crysis you will remember the combination of breath taking graphics mixed with a fierce fast paced battle setup. I remember running into militant villages with enhanced speed grabbing some poor bastard and using him as a human shield before tossing him at his buddies with my strength mod and then finally cutting them down with very VERY big guns!
Yep, the game play was slick and fast as lightning. Unlike some other first person shooters that seemed to lack in versatility, Crysis gave us something to look forward to, something that hints at the future of warfare….if the human race last that long of course.

Kill that rebel scum!

Yep, Star Wars is one hectically popular design theme on the net. As you know Star Wars has also made its influence felt here on Springleap.com, such as with Star Wors and the hilariously cool new winner Who’s your Daddy? While there are a true myriad of Star Wars inspired designs out there, few have a unique appeal that elevates them above the rest. Feng Zhu is one such artist that has really taken the Star Wars theme to Tatooine and beyond!

The Star Wars theme that Feng Zhu has so wonderfully created is based around a “what if” the Empire manufactured sexy recruitment posters to get citizens to sign up. Yes indeed this would no doubt get the blood boiling in many guys veils…..”shoot some rebels, tap some ass” should be their slogan hahaha!

I’m a fan of Feng Zhu’s design style. It has detail and great use of colour, as well as a good anatomical design that is sort of “manga-ish”, with a hint of old House Candy album cover style. While the figures seem to look a tad rigid at times I almost feel as if it adds to the military essence of the designs. Shooo these lady soldiers are a rather spicy asset to the Empire…I reckon the rebels would turn themselves in, as long as they get a chance to be man handled by the female recruits….lol, chances!
