Who is more powerful than Conan? Trick question fool…NOBODY is more POWERFUL!!!!
I don’t care what you say, bring on Chuck Norris, Conan would snap his neck in an instance without putting down his flagon of ale.
So who do you get to play Conan’s enemy, Khalar Sing?
The dude would have to have a pretty damn fierce personal energy and the build to match a true reflection of this hardcore warlord.
Well, it seems that we don’t have to guess any longer. It’s the man who killed thousands of Navi and could survive jumping out of a plane in a mech-suit.
Hell yeah it’s the one and only Colonel Miles “this jungle will S41t you out with zero warning” Quaritch….or should I say Stephen Lang, in the real world.
Yes indeed the role of Khalar has been offered to this super cool actor and I’m needless to say, stoked!
For all of you who didn’t watch Avatar, Stephen Lang did an absolutely brilliant job of bringing the hardcore Colonel to life with his raw power and unflinching warrior “drive”. I have high hopes that he will bring what is needed to the table in order to make a kickazz khalar Sing! Conan’s enemy will have to be something truly terrifying!
Greetings Apple fans…or Apple loathers for that matter!
Just a few days ago I did a quick review about the latest gadget out of the Apple tech arsenal, the iPad.
While there are some stark differences in reviews from a whole host of individuals, on the whole most people seem to be doing little jumps for joy over the new iPad. Personally I’m not completely sold on this gizmo, but hey that is just my opinion. Just like the iPhones there are a myriad of applications, which will all become easily convertible to the iPad. The one app that I am interested in is the new Marvel iPad application.
This handy application is in essence similar to another comic downloader/viewer for the iPhone. Obviously the size of the iPad makes the idea of viewing screened comics that much better. I mean have you seen how small the screen of the iPhone is? Yeah viewing pleasure it is not. At the moment individual comics will cost $1.99 and there will be something like 500 plus to choose from on release.
Please understand that you won’t be able to get hold of all of your favourite titles right away. Basically these 500 comics will be made up of titles from a while back, as not to interfere with the comic sales of the recent titles…which would make no sense! There is no point in marvel trying to commit some form of digital seppuku.
The word is that these 500 comics will initially made up from comics dating back to the 60’s up until the most recent being 2009. I have to say this isn’t such a bad thing if you are a comic collector like myself who is quite a bit behind in his full marvel range of titles. The marvel iPad application will definitely bring a bit more sparkle into the lives of many Marvel fans who are always on the move and who need to get back into storylines.
