As you will probably already know our latest Football Fever theme competition is underway and the voting is already rocking. If you thought the Township Bling competition was a closely contested battle, just wait until you feast your eyes on the insane footie designs that have come through.
Here is a list of my top picks for Football fever competition.
There are loads of good designs coming through but there are two designs that stand out in my mind as the clear favourites. Honestly if any of these two don’t win, it would be an absolute travesty. Although in the last competition none of my favourites won the competition…let’s hope I don’t put some kind of jinx on designs when I pick them as favourites…aaiieeeeee.
It’s interesting that my two top picks for Football Fever competition are designers that have already made a huge name for themselves here on Springleap.com. They are the mega powerful Tu and the ballistic design master DustyRich. Yep, I thought u might recognize these two designers. This time around we see some seriously magic designs that really hold fast to the theme and show that the South Africans have what it takes.
Tu’s design entitled 2010 Pinball, is rather self explanatory…..it’s a pinball machine inspired by the 2010 World Cup. But dude this design looks awesome…look at how well he has integrated football theme into a killer pinball machine concept. Tu, if this design doesn’t win I think you should propose talks with some gaming manufacturer and get some of these puppies produced for the World Cup itself…this would be one of the best pinball machines of all time. KICK ASS.
The only problem that has been sited so far with this design, is that it mentions 2010. I think that the design competition rules are quite sticky when it comes to actually mentioning the dates etc etc…
But truth to tell, I think there won’t be any major issues.
2010 Pinball is clearly pegged as a top pick for the compo…you have to be blind not to recognize the design might of this killer cool design.
My next choice is from a man who has made a serious mark on the Springleap.com community and is fast becoming a big name in certain design circles. I’ve had so many people come into the store and start chatting to me about DustyRich’s work, which they saw online. His new design Viva Fever captures the spirit and energy of the World Cup in a BIG way. This design is one for football fans to really sink their teeth into…especially if they are of the male persuasion muhaha. Dusty’s design is steamy to say the least and the cute lil football girls really help to give the design a “Brazillian feeling”.
Viva fever has the kind of mojo that will make it an equal competitor against Tu’s stunning design. Great colour, great, design and it really makes the theme its own.
Both of you gentleman are really close to a win with these funky designs. I wish you both the best. May the best designer win! The Football fever competition is a GOGOGO!
