Well GI Joe and District 9 have passed us by and now it’s time to focus on the next big movie to be released in the US. While many will dispute over what exactly will be the next big thing, I am convinced that this will come in the form of James Cameron’s new sci-fi flick Avatar.
The Avatar movie is about Jake who is a paraplegic war veteran, who must travel to an alien planet and do battle with the indigenous inhabitants. I have as yet managed to avoid all the spoiler info about the story…so I can only speculate from what I have seen in the trailer. However it looks like Jake is somehow transferred into the body of one of the local inhabitants and perhaps used for infiltration.
How he is incorporated into the alien body I don’t know, maybe it’s just his mind, or maybe he is cloned…who knows. Either way I’m frigging dying to find out what goes down.
Many times I have pondered why some people feel bound and determined to wear fashion that can ultimately cause them harm. At the absolute top of my list are women and their shoes. High heel shoes are one thing. I’ve seen plenty of unfortunate ladies take horribletumbles down flights of stairs because of a broken heel.
So why keep wearing such dangerous fashion trends?
In nature animals who experience a phenomenon that can cause harm, quickly change their movements or methods in order to avoid danger. However, why is it that us humans are so stupid as to keep coming back for more and more abuse?
We are some seriously wacked out creatures if you think about it.
High heel shoes just spell doom. I know that with practice your chances of wiping out are reduced, however why take the chance? After all you have that much farther to fall right LOL.
High Heels may be bad, but how about those insane platform shoes that can be up to 8 inches high….just think of the science in that: mass + momentum + gravity= serious pain.
