Muse The Resistance review

Muse The Resistance Review


Hi there all you music lovers.

Well, I toiled and fumed and pointed fingers at incompetent suppliers….but finally I managed to grab my very own copy of Muse’s brand new album entitled The Resistance.
This here is my review of an album that surprised me in both a good and bad way.

First off let me just say that I give the new Muse album a thumbs up 7/10. Which is perhaps a low score considering every other album form Bellamy and crew is an 8/10 or up. It’s obvious that The Resistance is a huge change in style and lyrics, but I have to admit the first time I played it I was a little worried.
However, I have been playing it all day at the store and am really starting to get into it.
I suppose it’s the same old story when a well established artist brings out a new album that doesn’t quite fit with their past work. The same thing happened when I bought the latest Placebo album….I kinda raised an eyebrow, settled in and began to love it.

Greetings Springleapers.

There is one fashion trend that really gets under my skin and sets my eyes rolling. What dubious trend is this? Miniature dog fashion…that’s what!
Yes that’s right the fashion trend of the rich & pathetic.
Am I totally harsh? Or just misinformed?

Maybe I’m a bit old school when it comes to fashion accessories that have heartbeats….however shaven rats with their heads sticking out of handbags, really makes me ponder what all the fuss is about.
Its just seems like a totally impractical indaba, as well as mildly abusive towards animals…of course I haven’t spoken to these dogs personally to ask them how they feel about being carried around all day and dressed in more bling than a ghetto pimp.
