One such canvas that has in recent years undergone a massive transformation as a canvas are cars.
We call this style, vehicle wrap design.
The August winner of the Wrap2theMax vehicle wrap design competition has just been announced. You will be blown away by Marcel du Preez brilliant competition entry.

Deadman Wonderland

Deadman Wonderland

Greetings one and all.

It has been a very long time since the last time I mentioned a new manga on the blog. However, after yesterday I thought it would be a groovy idea to bring to your attention a simply awesome manga called: Deadman Wonderland.
Sounds charming I know, but just wait and see, you will soon be hooked.

First off let me say that this is a shonen manga, meaning it is meant for boys, or more typically younger guys. However in western circles the Japanese manga content is quite heavy, so don’t be surprised if you are in your 30’s and 40’s and find yourself enjoying it.

The setting for the story takes place in Japan some ten years after a catastrophic earthquake that sank 70% of Tokyo itself. The story revolves around young boy named Ganta who survived the earthquake and now lives a peaceful life with his friends, pretty much doing the normal things a kid would do. However just before a school outing a mysterious floating red man in bizarre restraints attacks his class and brutally murders everybody but himself. The red man disappears and Ganta is left as the prime suspect in a murder investigation. He is found guilty and transferred to the only publically operated prison in Japan called Deadman Wonderland. Basically Deadman Wonderland serves as a theme part for attracting foreign tourism in order to revive the Japanese economy. The theme park is run by the inmates who are cast as actors in daily games that the general public can bet on.
