Hello and welcome.
Today I thought I’d take a look at fantasy t-shirts.
While in many cases “fantasy” is deemed a vast sprawling genre, with a variety of possible avenues, I see fantasy t-shirts as Classic Fantasy.
Call it what you will, but this genre is typified by such classics as The Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons.
Springleap.com I feel has still to realize its potential in the fantasy t-shirt category.
While there is fantasy elements they are mostly “new age” or of a funk fantasy initiative.
Perhaps the only gargantuan reptile we have ever seen in good ol’ Godzilla….not a dragon in sight.
Is it because people are sick of dragons, have they become “commercial” after the constant bombardment of the Asian dragon influence over the past few years? I definitely think it’s a factor to consider.
I’m on the frontline of t-shirt selling everyday and I have found that less and less people go for the oriental style design these days. It seems like a sad demise for such a beautiful style. The oriental dragon has inspired thousands of fantasy t-shirts over the years and no doubt it will return…when the time is right. LOL sounds like a prophecy. J
