The good news just keeps on coming!
Yesterday I was super stoked to hear that the new Placebo album called Battle For The Sun had just been released. Well when I say just, I mean on 8 June 2009, so yeah 4 days ago.
Battle for the Sun arrived at the V&A Musica 2 days ago I believe.
Needless to say the moment I got off work yesterday I shot down and grabbed myself a copy.

In a nut shell they are an alternative rock band that was formed back in the 90’s. Their first album was released in 1996 and was self titled (Placebo).
Since 1996 Placebo has released a series of powerful emotionally charged music that has been inspired by the likes of the Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins. Battle For The Sun is Placebo’s sixth studio album and it seems to expand their sound in a different…perhaps unexpected direction.
