Hello everyone.
It seems that I have been struck by a concussive force of pre-World Cup 2010 fever.
Perhaps it’s the fact that the Confederations Cup 2009 is just about to kick off, or maybe it’s the bombardment of soccer inspired TV adverts…but whatever it is I just can’t stop thinking about football, which my friends will tell you, is extremely odd
I have been thinking long and hard about the kind of fashion we can expect to see at World Cup 2010. Obviously it goes without saying that it’s going to be a casual affair, with the high rollers rocking up in suits and watching the proceedings from their fancy box seats.
Yesterday I commented about the uniquely South African hat called the Makaraba, which may end up being one of the only truly South African World Cup fashion statement.
Although with that said maybe the tourists will buy those mega traditional collared shirts that Madiba is always wearing. I have to say those shirts scare me in the night hahaha.
