When I say Terminator, no doubt your mind instantly thinks of Arnold Schwarzenegger and famous quotes like, “I’ll be back”, or maybe “Hasta la vista baby”.
If the word Terminator doesn’t take you back to these now classic sci-fi action movies…then most probably you it will make you think of bug sprays or some kind of grease removing dish washing liquid.
That aside, the latest instalment to the Terminator movie franchise is right around the corner and unlike the relative flop of Terminator 3 it looks like Terminator 4 will actually be pretty damn awesome.
Terminator: Salvation (Terminator 4) has already got all the sci-fi obsessed geeks talking and in a very positive light for a change.
Unfortunately, as I mentioned above, Terminator 3 was pretty shocking overall, coming across as ‘weak’ in comparison to its predecessors….the choice of a John Connor for Terminator 3 was undoubtedly lacking…it was just not what I expected of the supposed salvation of mankind…oh and Arnold in sparkly star shaped sun glasses…seriously not funny.
So what could possibly save Terminator Salvation from the same fate as number 3? Two words, Christian Bale.
