Greeting everybody.
It took me long enough, but eventually I had the chance to check out the new Watchmen movie, which was originally written my Alan Moore.
As far as my personal opinion goes I have to say WoW!
First off I have to warn you that this is no ordinary super hero movie.
If you are expecting a host of characters with perfects smiles and a mind for absolute happy fluffy justice….then you are in for one heck of a shock.
Each character has real depth and weaknesses like any other normal person, some of the heroes are downright “evil” in action.
I had read the first book of the graphic novels, which came out back in 1986, and was instantly intrigued by the rough, no holds barred and frank look at the super hero genre.
As far as super hero movies go this is one of the best I have ever seen and undoubtedly does the original comics justice.
Mega props must go to Zack Snyder’s for the impressive directing and composition of a movie that has been under construction for ages.
It’s not an easy task, especially when it’s a movie adaptation that would be closely scrutinized by thousands of Watchmen fans around the world…I’d be scared out of my wits LOL.
