Buy Tees - Hello Online Fashion Mag

Buy Tees Website

Buy Tees is an online fashion magazine providing news and reviews on designs and issues t-shirt related. Based in United Kingdom, Paul Baines and Christina Odell manage the site as a hobby, although the content begs to differ. In just over a year, Buy Tees has commented, reviewed, informed and been an entertaining source for coupons, competitions and trivia for a vast community of tee lovers!

The site provides a platform for designers around the world to gain exposure and feedback on their work; a philosophy which Springleap.com shares. The t-shirt industry has blossomed over the past year and has entertained a growing appreciation for t-shirt graphics as an art form. Buy Tees is doing an outstanding job at supporting and promoting the t-shirt industry and they plan to continue doing so in the future.

The duo were offered a substantial amount of cash to sell the t-shirt blog. However, their love for blogging and undying appreciation for t-shirt art and design, they have decided to keep their online mag. It is so inspiring to come across a site that is driven by genuine passion and not an economic agenda.

As one of the first t-shirt blogs around they are constantly looking for ways to expand their horizons and stretch the boundaries of the blog… so watch this space for updates!

Today I thought I’d take a look at the best local designs that have ever come out of Springleap.com
Whilst the majority of the designs submitted to Springleap are by local South Africans, there are so few that have a truly “local is lekker” feel to them.

In my mind there are 4 designs that stand out as true local design soldiers, they are:
eSempowenis by WolFox.
Bunny Chow by Quack.
Emigrasie by Kiekiepickie.
Star Wors by Kingslep.
