Hey Springleapers!!!

 

Springleap.com was featured on African Couture SABC 3 on Saturday January 24, 2009 and yep Springleap.com has done it again proving to the South African fashion industry and the public that Springleap.com is a hell of a fashion concept.

 

As many of you may know Springleap.com is all about promoting designers, giving them exposure and credibility, and the show most definitely proved this point. I’d bet all designers are mega happy for the exposure and are deeply thankful.

 

A note of great appreciation was sent to Springleap.com by one of the designers  expressing how thankful they are for allowing them to be featured on the interview with African Couture. Personally I liked the part where Eran expressed that the whole concept of Springleap is something when someone believes in you as a person and takes risks on your behalf. AWESOME.

 

Keep your eyes open peeps, it will just keep coming. We have incredible suprises in store for you and tomorrow we plan to blow you away with some exciting news. So watch this space tomorrow. You ganna love it!!!

Second January competition

Hi there guys and girls.

Yep another month draws to a close and so too does the second half of the fortnightly Springleap.com competition.
Have you voted on all of the designs for the second January competition?

The second half of the January competition is just as furiously contended as the first…I was really happy with the level of design that came through for this section…there were even a few entries that surprised me.
I’d have to say that it’s the first month where I have seen a few designs that were “rough around the edges” yet in my opinion should be up there with the usual design masters for the main prize.

If you take a look at the image I have provided you will see 4 designs, each with their own design might at various levels that I feel are deserving of a shot at the win…listen these choices are just my personal opinion, I’m sure everybody will have their own favourites…I added these designs because I think they best illustrate my idea of mixed level designs all having a chance at winning.
