Heres something interesting that has been bouncing around inside my noggin for the past few days.
Why is there such a small amount of manga style designs knocking around Springleap.com?
For those of you who don’t know what style manga is then you have been living in the bush somewhere LOL.
Manga is probably the biggest “cartoon style” to make it big in the West in many many years…and in all honesty its streets ahead of your typical run of the mill animation.
Manga comes from Japan and has been around for a heck of a long time and was actually born from the introduction of old black and white Western cartoons from the States…while it has evolved, Western cartoon styles became used and worn out.
Thats manga in an absolute nutshell…perhaps I should do another posting on it at a later stage, whats important is that you know what it is and what it looks like, thats because it has mega stereotyped style….big eyes and big hair being the most common.
