Bamboozle brings on the paint

bamboozle angleHi there all u Springleapers.

So here’s an update on the progress of the Bamboozle design on the wall outside the store.
This sketch proved to be quite a difficult one in regards to size constraints and of course the “evil wall” that despises the act of the graceful line.
However the sketch is complete and looks really good, now the only thing left to do is add the colour…which also is easier said than done.
Personally I am really looking forward to seeing this design finished, it’s been such a long time in the making and there has been so much deliberation over whether or not it will look right for the wall, that it’s become somewhat of a dubious legend for David and myself.I really have to take my hat off to Darko who created the original Bamboozle design…every time I see it I just fall in love with it all over again.
A samurai that likes to break dance? Hell yeah now that’s a groovy idea.
The concept has such a strong fusion of Eastern and Western cultures that it’s hard not to feel at least a little something for the design.Darko as many of you already know produces a wide variety of design power and each design smacks of its own personality…Bamboozle is no different, it unleashes emotions and makes you day dream about another world that sits right adjacent to ours in the multi-verse.
In this world samurai’s drink coca cola and head down to the beach for a surf when the summer gets too hot.
Interestingly enough another new entry that scooped our top prize last month entitled Summerai by Robbielee also has a very modern slant on feudal Japan and the history of the Samurai…it shows a samurai sitting on a scooter having an ice cream…yep it’s a funny one, but damn brilliant.
Have you had a chance to check out our wall mural yet?? Have a lookie, you will likey ;) Duncs.
