Hi there everybody.
Heres an update on the very cool second design, that Dave has started on the outside wall.
The choice was difficult but we have finally decided to go with Darko’s Rocket Turtle which walked away with the top prize for the July competition.
Initially we were going to go ahead with another Darko design called Bamboozled, which many of you will know as the break dancing samurai.
While Bamboozled is an awesome design and it was our first choice we decided against it purely because of space constraints.
When Dave sketched bamboozled on the wall to check the size it ended up being too big, too much of the design wouldn’t be visible and honestly you couldn’t quite tell what the design was all about.
Dave could have always have made it smaller, but then people driving past and walking across the road wouldn’t be able to make it out.
Oh well it was unfortunate, but when the Rocket Turtle sketch was done we could really see how awesome it would turn out.
