Ello ello all you awesome people out there.
David as you should know by now is one brilliant artist and can do anything from elite sketches to full on wall murals.
However there is a new talent of David’s that we only picked up on last week and that is his caricature ability.
When I say this boy is talented I really mean it.
Caricatures are basically extreme representations of a person’s physical features, in order to create a funny version of themselves, while still being recognizable as the person in question…this is either to make the person giggle…or tear them down completely, as in the way artist sometimes do caricatures of political party members or famous people.
I have always been a HUGE fan of caricatures and really marvel at the artist ability to bring out prominent features and come up with a well executed picture.
I can sketch cartoon characters quite well, but the art of caricatures is a skill that is lost to me, it’s really awesome (and depressing) to see how naturally it comes to David.
