Icarus - Inkabot

Time for a bit of South American flava J

How many of you agree that a design doesn’t necessarily need lots of colours and gradients to be awesome?
I’m a believer that some of the best designs are single colour masterpieces…novices sometimes saturate their designs with colour, making a ok design…completely unbearable.
Our Tshirt of the Day comes from a guy that not only has the minimalistic colour balance down to a fine art but also has mega design talent.
Here is Inkabot by the brilliant designer Icarus.

I’ve always digged the whole Inca culture…it’s so rich with tradition and shrouded in mystery.
Out of all the ancient races I’d have to say they are my favourite, the whole Egyptian thing is just so done to death and whilst the pyramids and ancient culture is amazing, I feel that the Inca were just as worthy of our praise…they also built amazing structures and were in many ways, light years ahead of other civilizations of the time.
Its funny how in movies the Inca’s and the Egyptians are always associated with aliens…which I suppose isn’t entirely strange because they are both very similar and also have odd carvings that suggest “visitors from the stars” stories…..real X-Files material hahaha.

Rocking the Daisies in collaboration with Red Bull bring you RADAR which is a competition where you vote for your favourite band on their website, RADAR then takes the 4 highest rated bands and they get a ticket to compete at the Rocking the Daisies Festival 2008.
