Slicing your hand, getting your fingers stuck together, losing your mind…all of these are real possibilities when you are a model builder.
I grew up in a household that was design obsessed…my dad is an architect and my brother is a CAD (computer aided design) junkie…likewise I did a bit of design in my shadowy past myself.
I would always be amazed when my dad and his business partners would put together a scale model of the building they designed using various materials that would be detailed all the way down to the miniature cars and people.
Model making is an art…a frustrating, painstaking art.
Even making model planes and battleships was tedious to me when I was a kiddy….I take my cap off to those guys who can stick with it and make some seriously amazing models.
Oh how I’m sure they miss their sanity J

Let’s take a look at NEON.
“They only come out at night…the days are much too bright…they only come out at night”, these well known words by Billy from Smashing Pumpkins just about sums up the daily movements of avid party goers.
When the sun goes down and the lights start to flicker into action…we see different types of creatures moving towards various forms of light.
The moths and other night insects fly towards the bright electric lights, families gather around warm yellow lights and talk about their days…but as for the ravers, the jollers, the party animals, they only flock towards one light…and that is the NEON.
