It’s Thursday morning and I am absolutely itching to get my party on!
Luckily for me two of my good mates, Funky G and Lee Govender, are putting on a killer jam this Saturday at Tilt in Durban.
This Saturday sees the team of Funky and Lee pulling in some of the biggest names in the industry for one hell of a night. Vimo, Coco Loco, Funky G, Warren G and Tall man will all be spinning it their own way well into the early hours of Sunday morning. What makes this night so special is that Vimo will be launching his Natural Groove Volume 3 –Filthy Edition album.
For those of you out there who have heard some of his stuff you will understand why this will be a night not to be missed.
As always, the eSquared Durban team have managed to get our dirty little paws on two sets of VIP tickets for the night. All you have to do is email me on esquareddbn@gmail.com and CC 5 of your friends on the mail. Tickets are available from eSquared Fashion at R60
See you cats out on the town

HI there G&G’s
Todays Tshirt of the Day is a rather quirky one from Hylton and is packed with culinary power.
This design is called The Fork n Spaghetti.
How exactly should I say this name: The Forkin Spaghetti…gotta be careful here
One thing’s for sure people have responded very highly towards not only this design but all the other designs put forward by Hylton.
He has a very different style that is easily recognisable and def grows on you.
This is what Hylton had to say about The Fork n Spaghetti:
“The fork was wandering around like a lost fork. She was gone. She was the knife. Only to find a pile of spaghetti. Absorbed in pain. Found Comfort.”
Interesting indeed Hylton

Greetings all.
So today is the day for the Durban Fashion Week Young Designers show…we are all super excited to see the designs that our up and coming super powered local fashion gurus have to offer…especially Blue who is practically doing back flips. Don’t worry Mark only a few more hours to go chief
There’s going to be some seriously interesting designs this year, with all the designers pulling out all the stops anything could happen.
The main question is, what will they show and how similar will the designs be to last year’s material?
People like Joline Graham had a very pirate inspired range last year, the name of the collection was actually called Hidden Treasure which of course summed up that style nicely.
Some said that the range was a little outdated, obviously making as much use of the pirate craze from the past few years as possible. Will she miss the boat this year too?

Ola guys and girls!
Keeping on the MTN Durban fashion Week thread, one of the big parts of Fashion Week is the after parties.
I have been fortunate to have gone to a few and boy-oh-boy do these fashionistas get down and dirrrrty. All the trendiest lords and ladies from funky Durban town pull out all the stops to try out do their counterparts. The parties range from private parties to jols that cater for all the commoners out there.
This year there are a few parties going down at the MTN Durban Fashion Week. The first being at Vacca Matta, hosted by the well known designer Gavin Rajah on Wednesday. Thursday sees Carducci, Friday gives all of us on the east Coast a little bit of Eastern Mosaic party flavour and Saturday is the official MTN Durban Fashion Week after party. So if you are part of the in crowd you could be jamming it up in a big way this week!
See all you cool kids on Wednesday, dress up or down but remember if your look is crap you are going to have a tough night.Let the festivities begin!
