Social Net Crime braggers

Hey there all you net friends.

It seems that there’s a new breed of idiot out there and it comes in the form of Social Net Crime braggers.
So what the heck exactly is a Social Net Crime bragger?! Well it’s basically members of the criminal fraternity who like to make themselves heard on internet social groups like Facebook, Myspace and Friends Reunited.

Why these peanuts are so dumb as to advertise their guilt is beyond me. Perhaps they don’t realise that their information is not entirely private. Not only do these criminals openly join chat groups and spew out the details of their illegal actions, but they post blogs challenging their rival gangs and delivering threats.

Sorry NO begging.

Hi there everybody.

Yeah so I stumbled upon a very interesting little story all the way from Italy, which really made me raise an eyebrow.
It seems that in Assisi, which is the hometown of
St Francis the patron Saint of the Poor, the local mayor has decided to put a ban on begging.
Curious?

It seems that the mayor Claudio Ricci has decided to bar people from asking for free handouts.
Not only can the poor not ask for handouts, but they are not allowed to sit on the ground anywhere within 500 meters of a church, place of worship, public squares or even public buildings for that matter.
Mayor Ricci said that his reason was simply to “preserve the sacred character of Assisi without damaging its welcome“.
In defence Renato Martino who is the head of a Pontifical council for justice and peace said, “Begging is not a crime, I don’t understand why it has to be banned by adopting a law. Even if some people take advantage, helping those who are in need is always a good thing to do.”
