Chat rooms are synonymous with all kinds of trouble. South Africa has launched its own kind of chat room and it is stirring up problems.
Mxit is a proudly South African product. It has seen millions of subscribers sign up at one hell of a rate and why wouldn’t you when you can send a message for less than 1 cent. So what is Mxit and how does it work? Well, Mxit is an instant messaging service for cellphones that uses GPRS or 3G to send messages to other cellphones or computers. Anyone with the right cellphone can download the program and use it to chat to anyone, anywhere in the world, at a fraction of the cost of an SMS.

In the modern world we live in it is always good to go back and experience something older and original. For me, this is has become the fun fair J
I was dragged to the fun fair the other day and it was the best couple of fun filled hours I have had in months. The whole fun fair scene has disappeared. It has been replaced by amusement parks which are not my cup of tea. You stand in line for hours next to tourists and screeching kids who are about to throw up after eating as much candy floss and hot dogs that they can get their hands on. No thank you.
So we ventured down to fun world at Durban Beach front and I was pleasantly surprised. The beach front does not have the safest reputation around but this spot is well policed and very safe. The rides we went on varied from the old spinning tea cups to the absolutely insane 360 degree swinging boat. I could not hide how scared I was. Yes, I know…I am a little girl.

Hi there all you otakus.
Every now and then I like to bounce you some news on a hot new anime/manga that is rocking my world.
In most cases it’s a hardcore bloodfest, ultra action extravaganza, but this time I want to show you a Shonen (guys) sports manga that has been adapted not only into an anime (TV cartoon), but also into a live action series.
Lets have a flashback t0 1992 with the manga H2.
Sports manga????.
Yeah I’m sure a few of you are shaking your heads, crying out against my sin.
But in all honesty there are some really fantastic shows out there that just need to be given a chance.
H2 is a baseball manga from the early 90’s which characterises this period in Japan very nicely.
The characters are all unforgettable and you associate with them very deeply.
The story isn’t just about baseball, but is also a coming of age story about a group of young high school kids in Tokyo.
Love, “forbidden love”, popularity, meaning, rivals…all the typical mix of elements are there.

Hi there everybody.
Falling or jumping off?
That’s what we have to ask ourselves when we look at today’s Tshirt of the Day.
This styling new design from Rocky is just fantastic. We call it simply: Falling Men.
So just what is happening in the Falling men design? Hmmm well there could be a whole host of reasons why these men are throwing themselves into the vast oblivion.
My bet is that a secret ninja organization has infiltrated a party (see DJ Ninja) and now that they have taken their target out in a flurry of very deadly attacks, are now making their big exit.
These guys don’t use stairs, stairs are for normal humans, these guys can jump down ten stories and land on a cockroach without squashing it.
On the pessimistic side they may be part of one of those suicide cults from the States, you know, the ones that are convinced there’s a space ship waiting for them on the other side of the moon prepared to take them into the next dimension.
All they have to do is drink the poisoned cool drink and their souls will be transported to the ship.
When all of them are as dead as “O-Ren Ishii”, the leader of the cult who faked drinking the dodgy cocktail of Oros and pesticide’s, gets up and makes off with their life savings. It happens.
