Serious Kissing

kiss

Hey there all you lovers.

Kissing. Yes kissing is one of those things that crosses all cultural boundaries…if you don’t enjoy the act there is something seriously wrong with you.
I remember my first like it was yesterday, even though it was many years ago, I guess that first kiss is something that stays with you forever, because it’s such a intense experience and you have no idea what you are doing. I’ve heard horror stories of first kisses, bitten lips, headbutts and even nervous vomits….kinda like Stan from South Park.

There are some serious kissing veterans out there, serious kisses…I’m not talking about old people who take their teeth out for kisses (scary). I’m talking about people who kiss long and hard for an extended period of time. You always get some drunken couple at a bar or club snogging like there’s no tomorrow, you go dancing, go to the toilet, come back and they are still going…after like an hour you think, ok enough is enough and wanna throw your drink over their heads to cool them off.
Honestly they are nothing compared to the experts, try kissing for 31.18.33min.
That’s the record set in 2004 by Andrea Sarti and Anna Chen. Now that is some super duper uber kissies.
I think my lips would become numb and fall off my face *splotch*.

Oshin African Sound

birdmic

Hey gang.

Local is lekker, so in the spirit of all things Saffa I decided to do the Tshirt of the Day with another local design. It’s Oshin again and once again they capture simple design with a great cut.
Let’s have a look at African Sound.

Ok so it is a very simple design and yes we have seen a lot of these fusion designs incorporating music with the African symbol, in some respects I think it’s been done to death, revived with shock paddles and then killed again. The humming bird design, which Oshin has used in few of this ranges designs, has a natural element to it…however I don’t associate that bird with Africa at all…so maybe just a bit confused as to why they use it so often, but in the final analysis it complements the design.

I think from an aesthetic point of view the shirt rocks, great mix of colours…really Rastafarian, guess the hippies will dig this one. I tried it on myself and really felt comfortable and snug in it.
As I always say about Oshin I enjoy the fit of their shirts, especially the golfers.
