GAME START
Hey there everybody, I trust your weekends are absolutely rocking so far…my Friday night was spent doing a stock take, so I’m pretty sure yours was better than mine 
Mario Brothers, yes I’m sure most of you would have an inkling of what I’m talking about when you hear that name. For those of you who may be too young (no excuse) or maybe been living in the jungles of the Amazon since the beginning of the 80’s, Mario Brothers is an old school video game.
I’ve seen quite a few of these Mario inspired shirts lately, but they just seem to lack any originality, that was until I came across this styling design from one of our new local designers 2BOP. Check out the “powered up” design 1UP.
1UP, which in video game language means an “extra life” or alternatively to raise an ability, however in this case 1UP means an extra life…the term was first coined by Super Mario Brothers way back when in the 80’s and the term has just stuck. I’m in love with this shirt, being a bit of a geek of course, how could I not.
The 1UP mushroom in the video game is actually green, but works in the colours we have in store, besides its supposed to be a little bit more abstract than your typical t-shirt…I mean what would your personal 1UP mushroom look like? Mine would be bright red and yellow stripes with a smiley face on it ooooooh yeah 
2BOP has some fantastic retro video game type designs that we will be bringing out in the next few weeks.
The 2BOP style is very unique and will fit well with the gamer/retro/geek/funk crowd, if you are a self indulgent Tinkerbell fan or like to pump steroids at the gym….maybe this won’t be your kinda thing.
So if you wanna energise yourself and go out into the big bad world with an extra life to defend from the man eating predators and rampant taxi violence, this shirt is undoubtedly the one for you.

BOINGBOINGBOING Bring it on Donkey kONg!
Whew! This range reminds me of all the cool games that I used to play when I was a kid on seriously antiquated devices that could ONLY play 1 game - not at a time or that u could download a new game in - hell we didn’t even have cartridges or the internet back then… One device = 1 game. No scrolling. it was serious Donkey Kong or Space Invaders in big pixel style.
We are talking PA - forget BC or AC crap. We are talking Pre-Atari.
oooohhhh now back to mushrooms - I have to go with the standard Armanita Muscaria a lovely “i’m on fire red” with a few spots of “cosmic white”.
