The lineup is absolutely KILLER - featuring one of my absolutely FAVOURITE sets from Seake - the cult team of DJs Malcolm and Skywalker. What makes Seake so amazing is not just their awesome sound and beats - it’s that they mix most of it LIVE - they actually create most of the tracks right then and there on the floor! It’s really awesome to see and I will try to get you some video of the boys on the decks. It’s freaking Star Trek stuff.

This transmission is not just an important message about a fantastic new anime series…it is also the dawning of a new age in a line of very successful anime, that I and many other have been hooked on since we were still rolling in the mud and rubbing squished bugs on our faces.
The Macross (Robotech for you westerners) name is known as one of the best mech / sci-fi related anime to ever be created…hardcore battles, memorable characters and a certain style that most anime couldn’t dream of coming close to.
The story follows the Macross7 series and introduces us to the migration fleet that sets off waaay back in the old days of the original 3rd series. Macross Frontier (Macross F as its being called) is set in around 2070 AD (LOL they never really realistic with their dates) and is all about the battles they have against unknown enemies and space monsters.
Ok, so my bane is over done CG (computer generated) animation in anime…call me a purist but I prefer drawn anime with slight CG to enhance effects. There is quite a bit of CG from what I’ve seen in the pilot episode, but the design team is absolutely incredible and have really pulled out all the stops…even the added CG hardly annoys me, which never happens. Nice one to the Macross design team.

A veeery big welcome to all of you out there.
Today is Monday and you know what that means: pain and suffering LOL.
Okok so it’s not as bad as I’m making it out to be…although some of us do suffer after BIG weekends. Today’s Tshirt of the Day is most definitely all about pain and suffering.
We find ourselves in a show down between two horror movie favourites The Ring and good ol’ Poltergeist. Say hi to: Poltergeist Toilet.
This design is absolutely hilarious. I just love the little girl waiting with her enchanted hammer for the insubstantial hand from hell to burst out of the toilet. I know the girl from the Poltergeist movies had problems with her TV and bedroom closet…but who knew it would get this bad, you can’t even go to the toilet without a chance of being sucked into the nether world…not cool.
Luckily the evil little girl from The Ring is a master of scaring the cr@p out of people and has a good knowledge of other fiends and devils…so as you can see from the pic, she’s pretty clued up and ready for action against other horrors.
The question is: will she survive an uber powered bombardment of flying knives and furniture that the Poltergeist is famous for…I don’t care how much Karate you know…a flying Lazy Boy to the face is an easy KO.
