Whoa Joe.
I just got back from some really awesome surfing today down at Addington and Vecchies Beach in Durban where I live. SORRY – no camera today – the battery was dead 
but boy it was rough. It was a REAL mission today – 80% paddling - 20% surfing.
Still rough or not – there were some really cool waves and I got a few awesome rides. Some of the guys there are just way too good – they just ride those waves so easily right up and down the beach. Too cool.
Surfing is just amazingly therapeutic. I worked till really late last night and felt really blasted this morning – but as soon as I got surfing – that just all faded away. My only regret has nothing to do with how rough the waves were today – it’s that I had to leave 
So what if the waves are rough? Waves are waves – I am just happy to be out there. Recently I surfed on a day where conditions were flatter than Idaho and still had a total riot.

Saturdays T of the Day is one that I think is sooo appropriate for the hectic world that we live in. Taxi’s in Cape Town, Hijackers in Joburg, dodgy Durban hobo’s…we all have reasons to wear our very slick design for T of the Day from Fiftees. We simply call it: Finger.
No doubt, as per usual, there will be a few people who find the Finger design a little too hardcore. I think it has an extremely nice balance of colour and graphic, very unique look and a little “in your face” material. Yes I know it’s a rude design, but I think being too serious in this day and age is dangerous.
There are so many things in this world that set us off, from relationships, people cutting us up in traffic, crime, work, the dentist….the list does indeed go on for eternity. But instead of getting angry and flipping out and getting into a fight that could leave you broke, broken, in jail or worse….rather wear your opinion on the outside with this ultra cool Fiftees design. Finger is a diffuser of direct aggression, even if somebody is screaming in your face, you have the knowledge that you are telling them exactly what you think of them….without saying a word. Finger is a very spiffy design and one of my new local design favourites. Nice one Fiftees.
