Shiroi Neko is one of my absolute favourite Japanese designers, their stuff is always funky and they make sure they go the extra mile in the styles they use. Todays Tshirt of the Day is another example of their awesome tshirt design power.

This is one supericious design, super cool old school planes taking each other out in a flaming dog fight…now that’s brilliant. I’ve always had thing for flying (or jumping off tall structures) and have a MASSIVE respect for pilots….they are elite humans in my eyes.
Not only do pilots have to be quick thinking and smart, but they also have to be extremely brave. Can you imagine flying so high off the ground at hectic speeds and being chilled enough to not have a heart attack…I reckon I don’t have the mettle for that kind of excitement. Now, think of pilots who carry hundreds of passengers (super responsibility) or the pilots who flew old fashioned planes back in the World Wars….hardly any tech to guide you or auto pilot so u can put your feet up and chill….just a compass and your own courage to get you through….now that’s impressive to me.
This shirt has a shweet design, no doubt, but the shirt itself is also really different…it has a rough, worn style that looks sooo derelict’ (yes Zoolander style) and it has a gradient faded colour. They also go out of their way with extra print details, like the stars on the back and inside neck logo…very cool in my opinion.
What do you guys & girls think of this design? Is it soaring or crashing and burning in the Andes?
