Why Tu and Ning of course!!!
No really guys - it’s a cru of 2 based in Thailand. The boy is TU and the gal is Ning.
Tuning focuses on trying to make socially uplifting comments with their tshirt designs or try to make people more aware of their environment and themselves : in short : they promote concepts like self-awareness, mastering the art of observation and and taking better care of our environment.

Ello there Peep’s from all sectors.
It’s a very groovy Saturday and I’m sitting in the Cape Town store trying to power up my sleepiness. Luckily I have a great way of starting my day…that’s of course with my good friend coffee and writing a blog for the Tshirt of the Day.
Today’s design, which is entitled simply: Gun and Bullets is super insanely cool. I had to have it as soon as I saw it…I have a big gun shirt addiction (aka: Biggusguniusboomboomitous).
Gun and Bullets from Tuning (who else) is one of those designs that just kicks mega bum no matter how u look at it….ok so maybe some people won’t enjoy the violent edge to the design, I understand that, but when I look at this design I think of one person and one person only: Dirty Harry.
Growing up I used to be a huge fan of Dirty Harry, with his hardcore street power, classic one liners and of course his big friggin gun, that thing can eclipse the sun when he pulls it out….then u have to just ask yourself one question….do u feel lucky punk?…well do ya? Gun and Bullets is a design that really pulls on my heart strings of nostalgia.
I’m sure loads of people (like hippies and nursery school teachers) will be less likely to share this common connection, but hey, you can’t deny the quality of the design and the work that’s gone into the creation of it.

Yes I’m back from George and ready to fire with all cannons. When I got back today I was stoked to see so many cool new designs up, I had no idea where to start with the Tshirt of the Day…too many choices. So, the best thing to do is set my random select option and just close my eyes, spin in a circle and point.
The lucky winner today is a very cool design we like to call Good and Evil from Cisse.
Its a relatively simple design, but its uber effective and really makes a point. I like the neutral tones on the white shirt the most, as the white really makes the design stand out.
Good and Evil is a shirt that will appeal to a large range of people. Personally I think it’s a great design but my only annoyance is that in the designer’s ignorance he uses the shadow of Death to represent evil. Shame man, Death gets such a bad rep from these kinds of things…just because he ferries your soul from this world to the next doesn’t make him a bad dude, in fact you owe him a dept…which is why in some religions you must pay the boatman (Death), to carry your soul down the River Styx to the Underworld (afterlife).
So, Don’t hate Death he’s actually one of the good guys, he just needs a change of wardrobe…he’s the original goth that’s for sure. I like the design of Good and Evil because it’s like a window into the soul of the characters and shows the true inherent nature of the subject…I wish I had the ability to see the dark or light side in a person…not a bad power to add to my super power wish list.
Good and Evil is undoubtedly an absolutely awesome design, what do u guys & girls think??
If you are in Cape Town today, then you’ll know well the CRAZY weather that Cape Town is having.
It’s the 24h of December, Christmas Eve, summer and we’re in the middle of a very angry STORM!
I woke up this morning to a mountain covered in a thick blanket of GREY CLOUD and heavy hard wind BANGING on my window. I got to the eSquared Fashion CT store, just in time, coz no sooner as I’d switched on the lights the heavens cracked open and heavy rain began to pound the pavements.
The bolts of LIGHTNING were striking with geat force. It looked like they were flashing right outside the door!! I have NEVER heard drones of THUNDER as angry and as loud as I am hearing them now!! 
The WIND is so strong that some Sea Point stores’ front signage, including eSquared’s, have broken.The MTN store in Sea Point, has had their window smashed in by the wind!!
This is seriously CRAZY weather!!!!!
Has the weather forgotton that it’s actually meant to be SUMMER? Maybe the weather is just angry with global warming?
PLEASE BRING BACK THE SUN!!!!!
