So it’s the third day into the week and I still haven’t mentioned my fab Fri.…and I’m gonna completely annoy all ya readers by blogging about how great my Fri was and make you crave for the weekend.
The day started out with realizing that it was in fact Fri and not a drabby weds, which excited me soooo much to the point I decided to wear my running away from the UFOs eSquared tee, which complemented my happy Fri outfit perfectly…
Howzit Everybody.
Retro style is undoubtedly a pendulum that swings back and forth between popularity and down right hellishness. You gotta love it, keep all your old school clothes and junk safe, every 10 years or so the retro “bug” bites some famous designer and then suddenly everybody who’s “cool” are sporting gear that should smell like moth balls.
I really enjoy most kinds of retro gear, like baggy bell bottoms, old school retro gaming consoles, afros and mood rings. Of course there are a few things, like 80’s style haircuts, that should just NEVER come back….Australians seem to have forgotten that particular unfortunately. It’s no wonder that if you want to immigrate to Oz you get loads of points for entry if you are a hair dresser…they really need them. (sorry guys)
Todays Tshirt of the Day is a super cool retro design of an old radio that is exploded out so you can see all its inside workings. Damn wicked design, I really enjoy the intricate work and simple colour, my favourite being the white on brown…looks ultra slick.
What about you guys? Retro your thing, or do you think that retro should stay in the past where it belongs, like T-rex and Wham?
