Cape Town really has a huge amount of creativity. We were looking at Birthday Cakes for a celebration and have spent ages looking at pictures of all the different Birthday Cakes.
And many of the Birthday Cake websites seem to be Cape Town Bakers - one of our favourites, Charly’s, has mouth watering pictures of biscuits and cakes.
The one website we found did the cake for Mbeki’s 65th Birthday celebration! Wow! That’s pretty impressive.
So if any other South African’s are looking for Birthday Cakes, it looks like Cape Town is the place to get that perfect cake!
Now we just need to choose the perfect birthday cake, have the birthday…
and then we can start eating!!!!

Indeed yes, it is the Tshirt of the Day and for your satisfaction we bring you a design that seems to make everybody laugh (not just the supposed “sickos” who laugh at designs like our Shark plus Man). I give you Gorilla Meuh.
Gorilla Meuh is one cool little design and also very colourful.
Personally I’d never wear it, I like colour and sure I’m crazy over cartoon designs. However theres very few “cheesy humour” style designs I truly enjoy. A gorilla with bananas stuck in his ears…how funny is it to you?
I think it takes a certain type of person to wear these kinds of shirts. I think ladies will be able to get away with designs like this easier than guys because it’s cute, but let’s face it, a big rugby jock wearing a Gorilla Meuh design will look a bit wrong. It’s like guys who wear pink and try and get away with it by saying,” it’s not pink….its salmon” . Sorry mate its pink and my conditioning makes me associate pink with little girls tricycles with tassels on the handlebars.
All in all, Gorilla Meuh is a design that can work for a select bunch of people….so no jocks, bikers, oil rig workers, fire fighters, space pirates or any warriors of the Hun.
