When I think of the designs that impress me the most, I’m always drawn to the Robot designs first. Robot robot robot thats what fills my mind everyday, I suppose it’s because of my anime background that I’m so obsessed with them. This brings us to the tshirt of the day (in all its glory) and the ultra awesome new design from Tuning that we call Macross Mech.
First off I have to just say, this Macross Mech design is insanely wicked. Lots of detail and of course imagination went into this design and thats why it looks so cool….what you put in is what you get out after all.
Macross? Mech? Do you recognize these terms? Well if you watch as much anime (Japanese cartoons) as me you should. Macross is an old school anime from the 80’s, in the Western world most people know it as Robotech and even us South Africans in our turbulent days of past, had this awesome cartoon on our screens. Macross is a story about an invasion by an evil outer space civilization and humanity’s battle for survival. The main weapon of humanity is called a “Mech”, which is basically a giant robot that your sit inside and can use to transform from normal humanoid shapes, into jets, cars or bikes.
This shirts mech design is actually a weird mix of two animes, one being Macross and the other being Gundam…which has been going for ages too (Macross is better in my opinion 
). You gotta love this design though, I’m totally hooked on this baby. What do you guys think of this design??
