Today we look at the very cool and highly detailed new shirt called Electronic Psychotrope. When I first saw this design I really liked it, it has a very hardcore heavy look to it which I enjoy. I love the way the girls hair flows together with all the electronic equipment, it’s a very effective design indeed.
Electronic Psychotrope is a musically inspired design that goes hand in hand with most raver types, as well as anybody who mixes or has respect for DJ’s (as I’m sure we all do).
What exactly is an Electronic Psychotrope? Well I wasn’t sure, I thought it was a function of the brain induced by a electronic catalyst (within the brain). When I looked up Psychotrope online the only hits I got where in Spanish. The word “trope” is actually a figure of speech that is descriptive and presents a sensory image in the mind (which is close to the answer we are looking for).
I eventually found an article by one of these “Full Moon Worshipper” types….you know, these people who go to places like Stonehenge during the solstice and pray to the moon.
Now I’m not put off by moon worshippers at all, people are entitled to their beliefs…however the dude who wrote this article had taken a chemical hallucinogen, which he called a Psychotrope. Supposedly if you take enough of these Psychotropes it can create visions and make you hallucinate very strongly (sounds terrible to me).
So a Psychotrope is pretty much what I thought it was, although I didn’t realize that the catalyst would be some dodgy chemical that you consume of your own free will LOL. The reason the design is still ok for me is that the vision (or euphoria) achieved is done through a electronic medium….hopefully music
