Take a Number tshirt

takeano

Hiya Everybody.

Today I’ve decided to use our new tshirt from Cisse called “Take a Number”.
I’m usually very chilled out with designs, I don’t mind gore, I don’t mine rudeness or even a bit of mindless fun. However, today I blog about a tshirt, that totally doesn’t agree with my sense of taste.

Maybe it’s my brain looking into things too much (as per usual) but the line of people waiting to leap for a ticket, that hangs just out of reach…is ultra depressing. “Take a Number” for me suggests the futility in life of ever reaching a “higher” goal, whether it be in work, love or play it’s the same. We should all be encouraged to strive for our goals, no matter what.

The Take a Number design itself is quite simple and attractive, especially on the green tshirt. I think it takes a person who truly understands life and has “fallen” from grace (of any kind), to identify with this tshirt. Perhaps this tshirt is for a person who can look at themselves and laugh, no matter what…we call these people easy going…..what does that make me? Oh no! :P

    I LOVE it!!!

like the bright green - think it’s bright and dig the particular tone of green they’re using…

also like the idea that they’re kinda poking fun at the rat race - 1984 comes to mind. the world is run in a totally mechanical way - you clock in, you clock out…

similar to that tom cruise movie i watched awhile back - actually maybe it wasn’t tom cruise - i think it was though!
…where the people were like clockwork workers - but they had the promise of paradise to go to

but why do i really like it? the colour green! :)

I Gotta go with the E-man on this one - I LOVE THE EMERALD GREEN COLOUR!!!

lol - this shirt is like the new “talk to the hand” comment - a killer technique - talk to the hand cause I ain’t listenin….

It’s like one of my fave lines I made up a while ago : I have kept a place for you in the back of the line. It’s long and undistinguished. You’ll feel right at home. ;)
    LOL!
