Floral Tshirt again.

awesomenatureGreetings all.

A day or two ago I complained about the Tshirt of the day being floral. While its true that I dont go anywhere near floral patterns and think its a bit of a ladies thing, I realized that there is in fact one floral tshirt in eSquared that I do dig.

Todays tshirt of the day is spectacular, its floral true…..however the detail and the way they set it out is more a natural scene ,than just a single flower that looks like it should be on a little girls pink lunch box. This floral tshirt has not only got a neutral print that either a guy or girl could get away with, but the quality of the shirt is awesome too, nice hardcore print and is also unique because it wraps around the front to the back.

So I guess my “no floral tshirt” standpoint has been somewhat destroyed. Am I just being a weirdo (very possible) and need to get with the times, or are there any others out there who think floral should remain a girls print?

springleap

springleap definition ONE (we’re still trying to verify this one so don’t use it for evidence!)

an interesting counter move that is taught to monks as a response to being knocked off their feet. To springleap will allow the monk to leap back to their feet, and at the same time kick the enemy. A springleap can be done either automatically as a response to some attacks or manually by the monk under the right conditions.

springleap is a physical attack and requires a successful hit to the victim. Failure to do so will cause the springleap to fail.

The Magic Cape Race

So it’s Tuesday night and my regular Tuesday night viewing of Survivor has been replaced with a local reality show called The Magic Cape Race.

I am writing this as I watch as I can’t conceal my DISAPPOINTMENT in this South African version of the American reality TV show, The Amazing Race.

For those of you who do not know what The Amazing Race is, it’s a reality TV show where a number of teams of people race around the world, following clues to get them to their next destination.  The last team to arrive at a destination is eliminated from the race.

The teams literally race from one country to another, from one continent to the next until they arrive back in America. Teams are eliminated along the way and the team to arrive FIRST at the last destination wins the race and a $ 1 million.

The Magic Cape Race is a copy of the Amazing Race but set in Cape Town only.

From the first few minutes of watching The Magic Cape Race, I wasn’t impressed. The narrator, Malcom Gooding, doesn’t stop narrating throughout the whole show! It’s extremely frustrating.

What’s worse is that Malcom Gooding also narrated the South African crime show, Criminal Minds. His voice is quite distinct so if you are familiar with Criminal Minds, it’s hard to view this family show in a fun, carefree way as his voice keeps connecting you with a psychologically violent show.

So the first episode of, The Magic Cape Race, just ended and an advert for the South African TV show, Solving it, came on and the narrator for Solving It, sounds just like Malcom Gooding… enough said.

I wish ALL those participating in The Magic Cape Race, the BEST of luck and Congratulate them for being selected to participate on the show!!

Death Shooting Tshirt Design

death shooting

Well hello there my friends.

It’s the Tshirt of the day once again and todays design goes to a rather bizarre design, that we like to call Death Shooting. The design itself of Death Shooting is perhaps a little weird for some people, I myself think it’s pretty cool and I can appreciate the artistic value of the tshirt design.

For me the Death Shooting tshirt represents a jealousy of truly evil thoughts, over the higher ideals of the good. Death, in this case is evil (although Death is traditionally a neutral power) and takes aim to shoot at the soaring white angels (which are associated with purity & goodness in Western circles). This malicious intent is not only felt from the opposing colours, but the position of the figures, Death is grounded giving off a negative vibe, whilst the angels in the sky show a more elevated attitude.

Well maybe I look too much into things, but hey I study philosophy so it’s not my fault, I’m running on @ut0m@t1c here people. I’m just hoping people don’t look at this tshirt design as a anti-Christian piece (some people can be very sensitive). Death, shooting at the angels should be purely symbolic.
