Local designer, Ryan, who is behind the local label Zetos Kulture, is full of interesting inspiration. I thought that it was time that all Zetos fans find out more about this talented designer.

Ryan says that his inspiration came from “some place in my head back in High School“.

He created the word “Zetos” when he was trying to think of a tag to use when he was a Graffiti Artist. ( No, he wasn’t involved in any vandalism, but rather genuine art. ) Since then a few people have called him the “ZetosKid” and “Zetos“, so it stuck.

Ryan has, over time, developed a meaning for the word… ZETOS,  a new age of happiness. “I hope it will bring people together and make them realise that life is BETTER than what some people make it out to be. ”

Zetos Kulture is here to represent everybody! What people feel, what makes people tick, the uniqueness that exists in everyone. It’s through these different mediums that Ryan expresses his HAPPY POSITIVES and creates his clothing.

Ryan’s favourite part of what he does is the challenge. Taking a whole lot of jumbled elements in his head and regurgitating it into art.

He hopes to oneday start a movement of HAPPY, POSITIVE and DOWN TO EARTH people. To hopefully expell arrogance and disrespect, for everyone to live the same and eliminate DESIRE.

Ryan is slowly getting into other events that involve  Zetos Kulture. Such events are ONLY for people who want to have a GOOD time! He recently hosted the first “Zetos Kulture Happy Positive Party“ and it went “… 3 times better…” than Ryan expected!

Ryan added that, “… The “K” in Zetos Kulture is only there cos I think it looks better than a “C“… ”
