in babble and cape town.
It’s such a miserable day in Cape Town today, the rain is really pelting down hard and, OH MY GOODNESS is it so f-f-f-freezing! Actually the warmest place to be is in the eSquared Cape Town store. Even the street security guards have been huddling into the store to warm up every time they walk passed. The seriously strong icy wind even picked up one of our heavy, metal signs outside and dragged it down the pavement!
I’m bundled over my computer, clutching a HOT cup of Rooibos Chai Tea, thinking to myself : “at least we don’t have tornados in Cape Town, can you imagine if one just spiraled through here. Well that wouldn’t be too pleasant”. Anyway, clearly my brain is starting to get frostbite. So, if the chill is getting you down, here is something fun to lift your spirits:

The final word on Nutrition
After some intense research, here’s the final word on nutrition and health.
-
Japanese eat hardly any fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than we do.
-
Mexicans eat lots of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than we do.
-
Chinese don’t drink very much red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than we do.
-
Italians drink uber amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attcks than we do.
-
Germans drinks lots of beer and suffer fewer heart attcks than we do.
CONCLUSION
Eat and drink as much of whatever you want, apparently speaking English is what kills you.

in eSquared and local designers.
Hey guys & girls.
We all know South Africa is a place rippling with artistic talent, theres thousands of people out there whos minds are warped in just the right way and just the right angle, to be able to create something unique and special. Why then do we not see more local fashion in the limelight? Now, when I say local fashion…im not talking about all this runway crud that seems to dazzle the masses, Im talking about uber, funky slick local fashion, stuff with a bit of teeth and ZERO elitist attitude. Local fashion in this sorta sphere has a seriously small platform in which to grow, which is why eSquared likes to give up and coming local fashion gurus a chance, to blast out into the cosmos and show this world what they got. eyaaaah *judo chop*
Local fashion in eSquared is a perpetual wave of change, its super exciting to see what we will get next…I think thats part of the charm of local fashion. I find bigger brands are scared to take a leap out into the big wild and funky…after all it easier for smaller local fashion designers to go crazy and make something out of the ordinary and not suffer too greatly….of course breaking it into the main stream is no easy thing and the bigger the run the bigger the risk.
eSquared has got local fashion designers backs, come on in and talk to us, or mail us some of your stuff, u never know where it could lead, right?
