Butan Wear is a Cape Town based street wear label, founded in 2001. But even though Butan Wear has that urban street wear edge to it’s range, the clothing is easywearing, comfortable and not all the styles are oversized as most street wear labels, so Butan Wear caters for all.
The Butan Wear label is designed to evolve like a living organism, adapting and changing with the times. Directly influenced by this creative environment, Butan Wear in turn asserts its own influences on this culture, in a proactive, innovative and genuine manner and through capacity building of undiscovered talent in the HIP HOP scene.
Butan Wear lives by the Motto Urban Disciplines and strive to encompass this affiliation in garment designs and further through involvement in projects that are concerned with social upliftment and sustenance of Hip Hop culture.
