If any of you have been to the Cape Town Gardens, I’m sure you will know all about the furry-lil-crazy-creatures running around there.
Last week I went down with my lady love to try and feed them, I was wondering just how hard it would be to find them….the answer is they find you LoL…I lived in London for 2 years and let me tell you, the ones I met in CT were super uber friendly in comparison (London squirrels areevil)…well tame I guess from so many people giving them snacks on a daily basis.
These dudes are fearless (like Bruce Lee fearless)…they jump straight up to your lap and DEMAND peanuts…I almost felt like if I did’nt they would summon the squirrel mafia and sAvAgE my jugular…..but no they are supa shaweeet. So if you get a chance GO and check them out…and dont forget the peanuts.
Laters humans.
Dunc.Boxie.Squirrelicious.
PS: they are very picky about their nuts…I recommend Safari, it worked for us
eSquared Cape Town has placed a small advert in the local community paper for the Atlantic Seaboard (Camps Bay, Clifton, Sea Point etc) - the Atlantic Sun.
Duncan worked FLAT OUT getting the ad ready, as the deadline was this monday to get it to the Atlantic Sun, but Dave needed to see it before he left for a trip on Friday.
So last Thursday we decided to go with the ad, and Duncan spent a few STRESSED hours, putting together the ad.
You can breathe Duncan - the ad is in the Atlantic Sun and it looks Grrrrrrreat.

WOW! What a fantastic evening last night at the opening day of Durban MTN Fashion Week.
The weather was appalling but being super prepared, MTN and Fashion Week organizers set up water tight marquis with heaters and served us pretty much unlimited glasses of Mumm’s champers.
I went with my fantastic friend Angela Illing (ex head designer for K-SWISS SA), and found some fresh oysters being served to fill the gap and “sober” us up.
The first Show was Gideon who reall is absolutely fantastic at capturing style moments in time. The whole show smacked of the French Rivieria in the 1940’s/1950’s. Bright and wondrous colours juxtaposed with intricate patterns - cabin boys, ladies of leisure set against walks by the sea or cornerside cafe. Fantastic! Gideon really transported the crowd to a stylized moment in time - yes through the medium of fashion it seems that even time holds no restraints or barriers where top designer Gideon is concerned.
